New movie from Madonna - "Filth and Wisdom" - presented in Berlin

The famous singer and entertainer Madonna has appeared in Berlin, but this time she presented herself in the role of film director. The short movie screened by her is named "Filth and Wisdom", with Ukrainian immigrant Eugene Hutz starring. The movie describes some period of life of the immigrant, who has philosophical view of life. It is a mixture of musical comedy and melodrama. Other stars of the film are the members of the musical band Gogol Bordello, which is led by Eugene. They play themselves in the movie, which is filled with the music of the band as well as Madonna songs. So, the soundtrack to the movie is the music of Gogol Bordello. Madonna used her song Erotica in the film, as well as Britney Spierce famous hit Baby One More Time.

This debut probe was presented by Madonna at the 58-th Berlin festival, which started on 7th of February, 2008. This year 26 movies have been shown during this period, among which Madonna's "Filth and Wisdom". In addition to the conference, devoted to the film, the singer informed that she is ready to make a release of her deed in the Internet. She is full of expectations, and she says she hopes to get close to such geniuses as Visconti, Pasolini and Fellini. She is now preparing to present her new movie during the Cannes festival in May.

It seems this strong woman is very serious about what she is planning to do. Let us hope her project will be no less successful then the previous ones.
