Hung Up

The music video for Madonna’s dance hit Hung Up was shot in October, 2005 at Pineapple Dance Studios, Langley Street, the London Underground and Trocadero Centre, and in Los Angeles, California. The filming was directed by Johan Renck, who also directed filming of the video for Madonna’s early single Nothing Really Matters (1999). Lene Bausager and John Winter were producers of the video.

The video features Madonna in pink dancelike suit dancing with her dancers in rehearsal studio. Most part of those dancers would also take part in Madonna’s next video for the single Sorry which would be created in the same style.

In the 2006 "Children In Need" the Hung Up video was. This version of the video was performed by English Soap Opera Holby City.

The filming was rather dangerous for Madonna as she had broken eight bones in a horseback-riding accident during the shooting.

The video was nominated for two MuchMusic Video Awards in 2006 and five MTV Video Music Awards, but it didn’t get any award.
